The Braca IV Carbon 60 paddle is a 60% carbon version of the world’s most popular ICF sprint design, the Braca IV teardrop. It is specifically crafted for paddlers who favor a softer blade and shaft. With a more affordable price point compared to the standard IV model, the Carbon 60 provides an excellent balance of Braca’s design expertise and enhanced durability.

Braca Carbon 60 blades are paired with 10K shafts, 60% carbon shafts. All lengths are 10cm of adjustment and are durable plastic lockers.

Braca IV Carbon 60 Shaft Options

Braca Carbon 60 blades are paired with 10K shafts. All lengths are 10cm of adjustment and are durable plastic lockers.

For smaller Carbon 60 blades – 610, 635

10K Shaft, 3.2 – 3.4 mm deflection

For larger Carbon 60 blades – 670, 705, 735

10K Shaft, 3.2 – 3.4 mm deflection

Braca IV Carbon 60 Shaft Length

When you order your paddle you need to enter a Custom Length and select Hand Control.

Length: You can use any 10cm custom length. For example 205 to 215 cm.

All Braca IV Carbon 60 paddles are available with a two-piece adjustable shaft that provides 10 cm of adjustability. This allows flexible adjustment of the overall paddle length and blade angle from 0° to 80° right or left in 5° increments. The system also allows you to disassemble the paddle into two parts for easy transportation.

Hand Control: Select Right or Left

Hand control determines which way to orient the locker, left-handed or right-handed.

The Braca IV is an Olympic & World Championship kayak paddle with many blade and shaft configurations to accommodate all athletes. The Braca IV wing paddle is a versatile teardrop design that is available in scaled versions to accommodate all paddlers. Here are some other Configurations of the Braca IV blade design:

Braca I Braca I is the same paddle design as the Braca I but in a larger scale for competitors seeking larger blades.
Braca IV Carbon 60 The Braca IV Carbon 60, paired with a 10k shaft, is a more flexible 60% carbon blade at a competitive price for K1 Racing Clubs, K1 Youth, and Elders. Note that the Carbon 60 blades are the exact IV design blade and for durability run a little heavier and are also priced less that full carbon.
Braca Children The Braca Children paddle is the I, IV design scaled for youth-sized kayakers and available in 610 or 635. Braca Children has a smaller diameter shaft. If you prefer a standard-size shaft (maybe to attach bigger blades later) then the smallest Braca IV blades, 610 or 635, are a better choice. The smallest Braca IV blades are the exact blade as Braca Children but with a standard-size shaft.
