Joe Glickman, an accomplished kayaker and author, led an effort to create this awesome video of the 2012 US Surfski Champs. This video has some great history of the sport, as well as incredible footage and commentary of the race, including profiles of many of the top racers of that time.
For those who didn’t have the pleasure of knowing “Glicker”, he was a global ambassador for the sport and one of the kindest, thoughtful and most competitive person we knew. Unfortunately, Glicker passed away in May of 2015 after a 15 month battle with cancer.
