Extra Twist for a Firm Catch
Brača II is based on the Brača I design, it has increased blade pitch (see diagram below), which provides a firmer catch and more effortless exit than Brača I. FastPaddler just added these paddles to our inventory, they are a popular option in Europe. These are larger sprint paddles, in the same category of sizes as the Braca I. Brača Kid is a 'parallel-edge' blade with a proportionally smaller blade size and with proprietary material characteristics and mechanics of the paddle that are specifically designed to fit children’s physiology. It enables absorption of impact from each paddle stroke, thereby reducing shock on the shoulders, elbows and wrists and ultimately decreasing common kayak injuries. These small blade sizes are also great for marathon and long-distance adult paddlers!

This slip-over-shaft pogie was designed for easy in/out at portages, which also makes it a great all-around cool weather pogie. Excellent for above 40F/4.5C degrees, when hands may even warm up eventually, but you still want to block cool wind or water. Designed with a low profile, so they stay open and allow direct contact with a paddle shaft. You can use gloves with all of our pogies styles.
Braca also makes a Standard Kayak Pogie with a longer sleeve that goes midway up the forearm for more coverage.

Youth-Sized, 50% Carbon, Wing Paddle
Paddle of choice for young US Development Club Paddlers Braca Children is designed with the same tear-drop shape used in Braca I and Braca IV but proportionally reduced for youth. This youth-sized paddle is manufactured with a carbon, fiberglass combination resulting in a paddle with more flex. These softer mechanics allow for less stress on young joints and muscles, reducing common kayaking injuries. The youth shaft diameter is slightly smaller than the standard sized shafts. Also, consider the Braca IV Carbon 60 paddle in smaller sizes. This is basically the same paddle as the Braca Children but with a choice of standard-diameter shafts.
