The Braca XI blade boasts a special twisted teardrop shape that enhances its ability to achieve a powerful catch and a clean exit, ensuring a smooth and unique movement through the water. The Braca XI Van Dusen is finely tuned to deliver peak performance, offering efficient power across all cadences. It is our most widely utilized paddle in the USA and remains a favored choice among professional racers for Olympic Sprints, World Marathon Championships, and Surfski competitions. Marathon blades are specially reinforced with Kevlar tips, while Down River blades feature metallic tips. The Bracsa VIII makes an ideal first wing paddle for sea kayakers due to the soft catch and more forgiving forward stroke posture. Our VIII's are Bracsa VIII style as pictured (previous logo, same blade design) with new shafts. All Bracsa VIII have the newest model shafts with the latest locking mechanism. Paddles with the Bracsa label (as opposed to Braca) and a blacker finish are awesome deals, the exact same blade design but from older inventory, new, unused and in perfect condition. The Braca VIII blades are long, so it’s important to order a paddle that is long enough so you do not end up with a short inner shaft with your hands too close together. More info here. Youth-Sized, 50% Carbon, Wing Paddle
Paddle of choice for young US Development Club Paddlers Braca Children is designed with the same tear-drop shape used in Braca I and Braca IV but proportionally reduced for youth. This youth-sized paddle is manufactured with a carbon, fiberglass combination resulting in a paddle with more flex. These softer mechanics allow for less stress on young joints and muscles, reducing common kayaking injuries. The youth shaft diameter is slightly smaller than the standard sized shafts. Also, consider the Braca IV Carbon 60 paddle in smaller sizes. This is basically the same paddle as the Braca Children but with a choice of standard-diameter shafts. Braca Polo Rapid

Braca Polo Rapid is the newest addition to the Braca-sport Polo line. As the name suggests, it has an aggressive catch due to the wide leading edge, which gives excellent acceleration and boat control. The blade is thinner and flatter than the other Polo models, which facilitates more precise ball handling. The blade has an impact resistant edge all around and is filled with a CNC machined special foam core. It meets all ICF rules and regulations.
All inventory is MEDIUM shaft stiffness
Polo Paddles are shipped unassembled but we can pre-cut length and mark feather angle. Braca glue stick included.
For fully assembled paddles the long box size has an extra shipping charge.
